Abstract | This article offers a translation into Portuguese of «Overcoming Metaphysics Through Logical Analysis of Language». It is one of the best-known and most controversial texts of logical positivism. Carnap brings together the arsenal of logical analysis of language to analyze the apparent excesses of metaphysics, concluding that it is composed by pseudo-sentences.

Resumo | O presente artigo oferece a tradução para o português de «Superação da Metafísica pela análise lógica da linguagem». É um dos textos mais conhecidos e polêmicos do positivismo lógico. Carnap reúne o arsenal da análise lógica da linguagem para analisar os aparentes excessos da metafísica, chegando à conclusão de que ela é composta de pseudosentenças.

Resumen | El presente artículo ofrece una traducción para el portugués de «La superación de la metafísica por medio del análisis lógico del lenguaje». Es uno de los textos más conocidos y controvertidos del positivismo lógico. Carnap reúne el arsenal de análisis del lenguaje lógico para analizar los excesos aparentes de la metafísica, y concluye que está compuesto de pseudo-oraciones.
